The country became independent from the United Kingdom in 1964.
The official and national language is Maltese, while English serves as the second official language.
Valletta was the European Capital of Culture in 2018.
The warm climate makes it an all-year-around destination and a great opportunity to realise a mobility in idyllic conditions.
